Original Mount Carmel Cemetery, Hillside, interment register, DGS 004371542, item 1, image 112 of 417: handwritten Jos Traina, entry 15709, buried in the 27 May 1937 group, death 24 May, age 70, last residence 2220 Grand Ave. These details correlate with the 1937 death index and Aunt Lori’s account. FamilySearch index Q2HF-V6BN misreads the surname as Praina; this is not added as a separate person. The cause appears “Ch. Myocarditis,” whereas Aunt Lori reported chronic endocarditis. Both readings are retained as conflicting evidence until the original death certificate can be examined. Smaller age columns appear 9 months and 24 days; that month value conflicts with the supplied birth date and is not used to revise it.
