Original Partanna Nati 1848, act 134 (Centotrentaquattro), viewer image 144 of 411, inspected 21 September 2026. The annual B index is on image 396. Its handwritten number was checked against adjacent original acts before identifying act 134; acts 136 and 138 are different children and are not attached to this family.
The original act records Antonia, a female child, born 11 June 1848 in Partanna and declared that same day. The birth clause says “d’oggi.” Father/declarant Saverio Bianco is recorded as age 38. Mother Caterina is recorded as age 32 and explicitly his wife (“sua sposa”). Her surname remains a provisional reading, previously interpreted as Caciotta in the 1871 marriage; the faint birth handwriting is not sufficient to close that transcription question. Exact birth time, address and occupations are not promoted from this reading.
The child’s given name, father, mother’s given name, locality and approximate age correlate with Antonia Bianco’s 14 February 1871 marriage to Francesco Monisteri (source 300.10.060) and her age 33 in son Saverio’s December 1881 birth act (300.10.059). The original birth date makes her 22 at the February 1871 marriage, whereas that marriage states 23. Retain this age discrepancy; do not replace or suppress the marriage assertion.
Use 11 June 1848 as Antonia’s preferred birth date. Her existing profile and stable ID remain unchanged. Link Saverio Bianco and Caterina as spouses because this birth act explicitly states the relationship. Their approximate birth years, 1809–1810 and 1815–1816 respectively, are estimates from stated ages, not independently verified birth dates. Both were living in June 1848; Caterina was deceased by Antonia’s February 1871 marriage. No new people or earlier-generation parents are inferred.
Next: seek the parental marriage or another clearly written record to resolve Caterina’s surname, then locate Francesco Monisteri’s estimated 1843–1844 birth using parents Sebastiano Monisteri and Anna Lombardo. The 1847 Antonia register has not been searched; the correlated 1848 original was located first.
