Original file and supplied filename preserved. Photograph contributed by Aunt Lori through Joseph James Stuart. Historical date and individual identities are not independently established from appearance. Family words such as Dad, Mom and Grandma follow Lori’s perspective. No facial identification was performed. Photograph of a Palermo foundling-institute booklet with number 208. The title page names Elvira Fastuca. The placement page appears to give birth/receipt 16 October 1899 and placement with a La Sala woman, wife of De Caro; exact handwritten names and the placement date require careful transcription. These are care/placement roles, not established biological parentage. Identity with Josephine/Alvira Traina is a correlated lead, not proof by itself.
