Ellwood Roberts, ed., Biographical Annals of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, vol. II (1904), printed p. 351, “The Suplee Family.” Original printed page image visually inspected October 17, 2026. It names Andris Souplis’s children Bartholomew, Margaret, Andrew, Ann and Jacob and expressly calls the younger Andrew his son. This supports a PROVISIONAL father link for the archive’s Andrew Souplis (brother of Margaret), correlated with Peter Keijser’s original 1724 will naming Margaret’s brother Andrew (WEB-20261009-015911-671df7a0).
Limits: compiled family history, not original parentage proof. The book calls Margaret’s husband Peter Cayson; correlation with Peter Keijser remains to be tested against the elder Andrew’s original will (Philadelphia Will Book E p. 26). Its account of Gertrude as mother conflicts with Keyser 1889 p. 122 naming Anneke, and later historians dispute other biography details. Do not adopt a mother, exact birth/death dates, military ancestry, spouses, or descendant identities from this page without separate corroboration. The elder Andris is reported resident in Kingsessing Township, Philadelphia County, when making his March 25, 1724 will; this is attributed residence evidence, not a move-in date. No residence is inferred for the younger Andrew from birthplace.
