Original United States District Court, Chicago, petition for citizenship 90046, filed May 13, 1930, FamilySearch image 80/1093, right-hand page. Rose Traina, housewife, residence 2220 W. Grand Avenue, Chicago; born May 14, 1896, Marineo, Italy. Husband Joseph; married November 2, 1913, Chicago. Husband’s birth recorded April 26, 1889, Miselmeri, Italy (conflicts with archive 1890; not silently replaced); entered New York April 5, 1909. Husband admitted September 30, 1927, Superior Court, Chicago—a lead for his original naturalization file. Children Joseph and Anna born and residing Chicago; Joseph line visibly types September 15, 1924, conflicting with the original September 1914 baptism, so do not replace that birth or create another child. Anna born October 22, 1915; identity with an existing child requires correlation. Rose’s last foreign residence Marineo; entered New York June 3, 1913 aboard Indiana as Rosa Puccio. Witnesses Joseph Pernice and Domenico Armato; no kinship stated. Exact marriage, husband and arrival name correlate with the archived 1913 parish marriage WEB-20261025-142650-aea2c805. This petition does not identify Joseph with a 917 Milton directory entry. Left-hand oath belongs to Pauline Skatel, not Rose. Original inspected October 25, 2026.
