Original St. Philip Benizi, Chicago, baptism register p. 556, lower-left entry; FamilySearch DGS 004284716, item 2 image 318/548; index Q2Y9-FZ19. Inspected October 25, 2026. Joseph Justus Traina baptized August 16, 1914, born August 6 (6 Agosto); parents Francesco Traina of Misilmeri, Palermo and Adenzia Arcuri of Chiusa Sclafani. Address: 1149 Sedgwick St. Sponsors read Salvatore Tripo (surname tentative) and Maria Traina, relationships unstated. This is NOT the September 15, 1914 Joseph Gus II born to Joseph Traina and Rosa Puccio. August 6 differs from the later naturalization petition August 5. The address connects the Francesco/Adenzia candidate household to Angelo in 1914 and Gust in 1918/1919, but does not establish the four 917 Milton identities. Associated with the established Francesco for qualified identity research only; no spouse/child merger asserted. Full scan includes neighboring records.
