Original U.S. District Court, Chicago, petition for naturalization 302341, Audenzia Traina; FamilySearch Illinois, District and Circuit Court Naturalization Records, 1856–1991, volumes 1212–1214, DGS 007787550, image 385/2204. Main petition original JPEG attached; inspected visually October 25, 2026. Audenzia, housewife, 14114 Wood Street, Dixmoor, Illinois, age 45; born September 22, 1898 in Chiesa, Italy. Husband Francesco: marriage March 15, 1913, St. Joseph, Michigan; born July 6, 1887, Misulmeri [Misilmeri], Italy; entered New York April 20, 1910; resides with her. His naturalization is November 10, 1943 at U.S. District Court Chicago, certificate 5854144 (visually checked; automated transcription incorrectly reads May and 5254144). Two sons: Joseph, August 5, 1914, residing Dixmoor; Vincent, June 12, 1917, residing Chicago Heights; both born Chicago. Entry as Audenzia Arcuri, August 12, 1905, on ship typed Dicilian Prince [likely Sicilian Prince], last residence Chiesa. Do not silently normalize uncertain place/ship spelling. Adjacent declaration 186460, November 29, 1941, image 383, https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSMB-L7R1-F includes her portrait and says age 48, birth September 22, 1893, marriage 3/13/13 and Vincent June 8, 1917. These conflict with this later petition and must remain documented, not overwritten. The 1914 baptism WEB-20261025-221516-00f3c25b has Joseph birth August 6 rather than August 5; the Vincent delayed-birth index reports June 4 rather than June 8/12. The mother's Arcuri surname and two sons strongly correlate the Dixmoor family with the earlier baptism/naturalization candidate. Associated with Francesco Traina as a candidate-identification research source, not proof that he is the Frank at 917 Milton in the 1914 directory. It does not provide a Milton address, name his parents or justify merging the four directory references. No ambiguous candidate residences or new relationships applied.
