Original registered court page visually inspected 28 October 2026. Perry County, Pennsylvania Orphans' Court, volumes D–E, 1845–1854, printed pp.156–157 (Sarah entry p.157), DGS005534480 image378/614. Petition of James L. Diven, administrator, dated 11 January 1851, describes Sarah Tagg late of Landisburg, deceased in March 1849 (day left blank), leaving husband Wilson Tagg and four children: Alexander, John, Richard and one whose name is not supplied. Estate includes Landisburg lots, one adjoining James A. Diven. Match to Sarah Diven Tagg rests on husband and locality, consistent with 1840 deed. Administrator and adjoining owner are not identified as relatives by this entry; it does not establish James Junior's parentage. FamilySearch's machine transcript misreads the term as 1857; original heading and dated entry read 1851. Full original JPG downloaded for attachment.
