Maddalena Domenica Carmela Fiore — birth act 59, 11 October 1878

Archivio di Stato di Benevento, Stato civile italiano, San Lorenzo Maggiore, Nati 1878, act 59, image 42 of 57; annual index image 55. The full original was visually inspected at enlarged scale on 31 October 2026. Registration 15 October 1878; the birth clause says del di undici del corrente mese, establishing birth 11 October 1878, not the registration day. Father Alfonso Fiore, calzolaio, domiciled in the commune; mother Filomena Barbato, his wife, donna di casa, living with him. Child explicitly female, named Maddalena Domenica Carmela. Exact three given names, father, mother, and commune match the 1910 Sampierdarena banns (evidence WEB-20261028-170659-7b52a0da), where age 31 yields the previous approximate 1879 estimate. October 1878 birth is consistent with age 31 in June 1910. The 1879 index F section (image 79/84) did not show this child; this was an index-only bounded search, not a whole-volume negative. Father’s stated age and street spelling are not normalized here. Explicit commune residence is established for both parents at registration, not a move-in date. The 1878 index entry led to act 59; no new family relationships are inferred. Preservation: four observed image-section exports failed; assets array empty. No original file uploaded and no screenshot substituted as an original. Attachment recovery remains open. Source page: https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua2721464/wR8Vjap .
