Original census images visually inspected 2 November 2026. 1850: Landisburg, Perry County, Pennsylvania, enumerated 6 September, stamped p600, dwelling/family73; Alexander Diven41, tanner, Nancy25, Sarah4, Mary2, other residents, and Sarah Williamson51; Wilson Tagg household77 appears on the same page. Original https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-6Q48-V5 (index Sarah M4CZ-36B, Alexander M4CZ-362). 1860: Landisburg Borough, 6 July, p87/stamped520, dwelling601/family578, lines15–23: James A Diven51 tanner, Nancy J35, Sarah J14, Mary B12, Laura10, L Bertha7, Anna M4, Wm B1, Sarah Williamson61. Original https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GBS6-9TCK; index MXRL-4SL. 1870: Landisburg, 15 July, p2, dwelling15/family18, original lines27–37: Alexander Diven61 currier, Nancy45, Mary B22, Laura19, Elizabeth17, Annie14, William11, Margaret9, Joseph5, unnamed female infant2/12 bornMay, Sarah Williamson72. Original https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-69R4-7F1; index MZGB-YJZ. These originals establish a continuous household and Alexander/James A name usage. They do NOT state Sarah Williamson's relationship to Nancy, and the association with the archive's son of James Junior remains an identity-correlation question. A published family history calls Nancy a Williamson and Sarah's daughter; seek an explicit marriage, estate or family record before recording that bridge as proved. FamilySearch tree attachments are inconsistent: the 1860 record was attached to James1796–1840 and 1870 to Richard1810–1867, both dead before the respective censuses. Those tree links were not used as evidence or changed.
1880 candidate follow-up: Original United States census, Mill Village Borough, Erie County, Pennsylvania, ED167, p93/stamped135A, dwelling336/family359, image4/8, https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9YB8-9NFR. A.E. Ford66 farmer, wife E.D. Ford63, daughters Emma M24 and Anna20, and S. Williamson84, widow, described in the relationship column as 'Step mother' and in the condition column as infirm. This is a candidate for the older Sarah Williamson seen with the Diven household, because the published family history places her with the Ford family in Mill Village near the end of her life. The original does NOT explicitly identify her as Elizabeth's mother or Nancy Diven's mother. Preserve the census's stepmother wording, approximate ages and unresolved identity; do not substitute the index's generic Mother grouping or treat this as a proved bridge.
