Her original Pennsylvania death certificate (119594) records death at Parkesburg on 30 December 1907, birth in Chester County on 13 January 1828, and parents Arthur P. Wallace and Julia A. Wilson. Informant Clarence J. Scott supplied these details retrospectively; his relationship is not stated on the certificate. The original mother’s surname reads Wilson, rather than the index’s Vilson. Arthur P. Wallace’s 1869 will, proved 29 January 1874, includes Margaret A. Scott among its beneficiaries, supporting the family identification. The 1920 Parke genealogy’s death year 1908 conflicts with this original certificate.
