Teresa (surname uncertain)

29 October 2026 CORRECTION after inspecting the original register: Carmine Fiore's mother is Teresa, surname working reading Pirozzolo, not Anna. The original Santa Croce di Vitulano Morti1819 act7, image8/15 right, corroborates the clearer certified extract filed in1855. The former Anna reading is superseded as a transcription error, not a second person or an authentic alias. Carmine's age is NOT securely67: the1855 extract appears to read97 (novantasette); the original age is less legible, so keep the age unresolved and do not infer an exact birthyear. The witness Filippo Martino is separately67. Evidence [[evidence:WEB-20261029-203531-61d36404|Carmine Fiore's original1819 death act — image attachment pending]]. Parents' own birth/marriage dates and earlier ancestry remain unknown.

SUPERSEDED earlier transcription retained for audit (Anna and age67 are not current conclusions): Explicitly named mother of Carmine Fiore in the certified Santa Croce death extract, order7, February8,1819, filed as the paternal grandfather's death in Giovanna Maria Fiore's1855 marriage packet. Carmine is67,a molinaro (miller), domiciled Santa Croce, and son of the late Domenico and Anna (surname working reading Pirozzolo; corroboration pending). This establishes the earlier parental pair without inventing their birth dates, marriage or residence. Anna's deceased status is an owner-policy historical presumption, not a newly found death record. Carmine's reported age implies about1752 and must be weighed against son Luigi's conflicting approximate1761/1768 age inferences; no exact birthyear is asserted. The packet's explicit grandfather annotation and matching occupation/locality support identity.
