October 28, 2026 — family-group connection review PROVISIONAL — published family history. Pieter Dirck Keyser as child of Dirck Keyser (1635–1714) and first wife Elizabet ter Himpel, explicitly listed in Charles S. Keyser, The Keyser Family (1889), https://archive.org/details/keyserfamilydesc00keys, printed pp.121–122. Saved printed page rechecked October28: [[evidence:WEB-20261009-015911-671df7a0|Source packet]]. Later wife Johanna and probable later wife Elizabeth Keiser are not assigned as his mother. Original parentage corroboration remains pending. Earlier no-link statements describe prior research stages; only this clearly labeled working placement supersedes them.

Earlier research retained: 8 October 2026 - Clemens and earlier Keyser research, third round

The original registered copy of Peter Keijser's will identifies him as a Germantown shoemaker, dated 10 August 1724 and proved 16 October 1724, Philadelphia Will Book D:405-407, no. 325. He provides his estate to wife Margaret during widowhood, with a one-third provision if she remarries and the remainder for surviving children. Son Peter may take the Skippack land at seventy pounds and must supply produce to his mother. He names wife Margaret, her brother [[person:person-225eeea8-ca26-48f3-bcbf-7b0aa58ca19f|Andrew Souplis]], and my Son Dirik as executors. He also provides for my old Mother in Law Elizabeth. That phrase is preserved without equating Elizabeth with Anneke: historical mother-in-law terminology and her identity require further investigation. This will corroborates the spouse and the two named sons, but not every child or exact life date in the later genealogy. It does not prove the compiled death date 12 September 1724.

Earlier archive notes (preserved): 8 October 2026 — Direct-line research update

The 1889 Keyser genealogy, p. 122, identifies Pieter Dirck Keyser as son of Dirck Keyser and his first wife Elizabet ter Himpel; born 26 November 1676 in Amsterdam, died 12 September 1724 in Germantown. It records his marriage to Margaret Souplis at Germantown on 4 September 1700 and their son Dirck, born 26 September 1701. These compiled relationships still require original Dutch and Pennsylvania corroboration.

Status: Proposed ancestor or parental-family research profile. This entry preserves the sourced lead; it does not claim that every biological link has been proved.

8 October 2026 — Keyser original-record research, fourth round

Two original records add family context: Dirck Keyser Junior’s 1714 will calls Peter Keyser his brother, and Peter Keiser of Germantown, cordwainer, was surety for Elizabeth Keiser’s administration of Dirk’s estate in 1716. The occupation, place and family context support correlation with this Pieter. The Elizabeth in the 1716 bond is a possible explanation for the “old mother-in-law Elizabeth” in Pieter’s 1724 will; older usage can mean stepmother. This remains a hypothesis, not a new parent relationship.
