October 30, 2026 — Original scan recovered and verified. Catalogue of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity (New York: Council Publishing Company, 1900), Tau chapter, Hamilton College, printed page 248, class of 1891: Albert Emerson Stuart, Clergyman, Oak Lane, Philadelphia, Pa. The saved three-page PDF contains the title page, chapter opening and entry (source PDF pages 7, 267 and 272). These are unchanged scanned pages from Internet Archive cataloguedeltak00epsigoog. The saved copy was downloaded back from the website and its SHA-256 matched the uploaded file. It supports this named man's college/class listing, occupation and directory address; it does not prove football participation, birth or parentage. The identity association is consistent with other alumni and clergy records, not established by the directory alone. A directory address is not automatically a proved home residence. Earlier OCR-only/original-pending wording below is superseded.

Earlier research retained: The 1900 Catalogue of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity places Albert Emerson Stuart in the Tau chapter at Hamilton College under the class heading 1891, with a clerical occupation and Oak Lane, Philadelphia address. This is a plausible match to the minister in the family record, but the OCR listing does not name his parents or verify football participation. Treat the college connection as an identity lead pending original page and biographical corroboration. Joe’s belief that he played college football is retained as an unverified research question. Search Hamilton yearbooks and athletic records circa 1887–1891; do not infer Princeton University athletics from seminary attendance.
