30 October 2026 follow-up — Reinspected the saved original (SHA256 fca95fc0a860edf38b69c6709b933ea5a8f4726cc211df7391819096d1088281). The printed heading combines 'myself and wife' with children; 'minor' is struck through. Handwriting reads Agnes L. Wallace, not merely an index typo. New independent birth index: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VBYX-4VF , Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, City Births1860–1915, book1876 p169, female Anna E. Wallace born28Dec1876 Philadelphia, parents W.H.Wallace and Anna L. Full index inspected while signed in. Its exact birth date and parental names strongly correlate with recorded daughter Annie Lynn Wallace and the passport entry, but do not prove the Agnes name refers to her. Image access explicitly restricted to a FamilySearch center/affiliate library or possible partner/custodian; original birth image not inspected/downloaded. FamilySearch tree KCGH-VBT calls her Anna Linn Wallace1876–1958; tree attachment is only a lead, not evidence of death. Continue with original birth and later independent records; no new wife inferred.

William Henry Wallace swore on 5 April 1910 that he was born in Philadelphia on 28 May 1844, resided in Radnor, Pennsylvania, and worked as a physician. Application 23771, image 210 of 964, bears an issue stamp of 7 April 1910. He planned to return within six months; the application does not establish that travel occurred. His father is described as a U.S. citizen but not named. The descriptive age is 66, although the stated birth date implies 65 on the application date. The family section names Agnes L. Wallace, born Philadelphia 28 December 1876, and Elizabeth Wallace, born Philadelphia 8 June 1878. The printed word minor is struck through. Their exact relationships require corroboration; do not accept the index’s spouse label for “Anges L Wallace” as a new marriage or replace Anna Mary Linn. The matching birth date, residence and profession strongly support identification with the project’s William Henry Wallace. FamilySearch index: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QKDX-BFJL. No new family relationships are asserted from the ambiguous form.
