Alfonso Fiore (Alfred Traina) — original 1918 baptism and later marriage annotation

Original register image inspected 2 October 2026. FamilySearch, Illinois, Chicago, Catholic Church Records, Holy Guardian Angel Parish (Chicago: Arthington St), Baptisms 1916–1918, image 283 of 302, printed page 281, entry 169. Child: Alfonso Fiore; born 20 December 1917; baptized 31 March 1918; parents Luigi and Elvira Fastuca (handwritten surname reading). A later annotation on the same row names Camille Criola, with date Dec 21–1946 and place Our Lady of Sorrows, Chicago, Ill. This is a baptism-register marriage annotation, not the original marriage certificate. It directly correlates the Fiore birth identity with Camille Criola. The baptism date corrects the earlier May 31 transcription in the research notes for certificate 300.20.012 and seven-branch review WEB-20261002-221800-43f3c363: the original register reads March 31. The marriage annotation conflicts with the Lori/family account in 300.00.001 giving December 20, 1945. Preserve both dates with their provenance; do not silently replace the family account. This record does not establish legal adoption by Traina. It adds original-register support for December 20, 1917, alongside birth index 300.10.014 and NUMIDENT 300.10.032; preserve the existing family December 20/21 discrepancy.
