Philadelphia County Register of Wills, Will Book 1, pp. 188–189, no. 30. Benjamin Levering of Roxborough Township, Philadelphia County, farmer; will executed 15 May 1801, proved 10 March 1804. Ancestry, Pennsylvania, U.S., Wills and Probate Records, 1683–1993, Wills, Vol Y, 1, 1798–1806, image 490/704 (007726381_00490), inspected 7 October 2026. Historical registered copy, not the loose signed original. Names beloved wife Catharine, son Michael Levering and son-in-law Peter Widener; the two men are executors. Wife receives household goods for life and $80 yearly, payable quarterly; after her death the estate is divided equally among his children. Susannah is not individually named. This strongly corroborates the compiled Benjamin/Catharine/Peter family cluster, but does not itself name Peter’s wife or establish Catharine’s maiden surname Righter, Susannah’s parentage, exact death date, or marriage date. The compilation’s impossible 1854 marriage date remains unresolved. The registration date establishes death before 10 March 1804; it does not prove 25 February 1804.
