Other listed family birthplaces Pennsylvania. Do not merge Frank with the earlier compiled Franklin (1866–1868). Preserve Samson/Samzon name and recorded sex rather than infer sex from the name. Josephine’s 35 conflicts with her testimony of age 30 in 1879 and compiled 1843 birth. Wife status alone does not prove maternity.
