Original declaration of intention no. 124604, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, 24 February 1937; FamilySearch image 352 of 2182, indexed record 6YWB-F6DD. The signed declaration includes Angelo’s portrait. Angelo Traina, age 44, janitor, reports residence 47 South Fifth Avenue, Maywood, Illinois; birth 4 October 1892 in Misilmeri, Italy; wife Argia, married 13 November 1920 in Chicago; six children. Last foreign residence Bagheria. Entry stated as 11 June 1911, New York, SS Athinai from Palermo, as Traina Angelo. This substantially strengthens comparison with the 1911 Athinai passenger in WEB-20261018-005755-449e6871, although that manifest’s indexed arrival is 12 June and its written birthplace differs. The adjacent 1940 petition 200671, image 353 (3Q9M-CSMB-R81B), also inspected, repeats the family and residence but names no parents. Neither record proves this man was the 1914 laborer at 917 Milton Avenue. The 1892 Misilmeri birth act 406 names parents Giuseppe Giusto Traina and Giovanna Favaro but gives birth 6 October and father age 37; those conflicts remain unresolved. Candidate residence and vital details are preserved here, not adopted as structured facts on the unresolved Milton profile. Complete original 1937 image attached. Follow-up task c2943ecf-79d8-4d58-937e-a8848fa2a499 remains open.
