Research update, 17 October 2026: the previously undated directory reference is now located in the 1914 Chicago city directory, p. 1630, image 775/1002. It reads “Traina Angelo lab h917 Milton av”; Frank, Jos and Jos Jr are separately listed at the same address. This establishes Angelo’s residence and laborer occupation in the directory year, not a move-in date or kinship. Source WEB-20261018-005755-449e6871 preserves the original image. A separate 1911 Athinai passenger Traina Angelo (indexed Viaina) names father Giuseppe and brothers Francesco and Giuseppe, but his identity with this resident is unproved; birthplace discrepancies remain. No parentage, birth details or later residences from that candidate have been adopted.
