Original parish register inspected 25 October 2026. FamilySearch, Illinois, Chicago, Catholic Church Records, 1833–1925; St Philip Benizi Parish (Chicago: Oak St), Baptisms 1913–1915 with index, printed p.618, lower entry; image 691 of 1074, ARK 33S7-91H6-2VV. Josephum (parenthetical addition not confidently transcribed), born 15 September 1914, baptized 26 September; parents Joseph Traina and Rosa Puccio; godparents Joseph Justus Traina and Joanna Traina. Latin Justus corresponds to Giusto. Later annotation identifies Joseph Traina’s marriage to Jennie Ottaviano on 9 January 1954 at Our Lady of Angels, Chicago, notice dated 10 January 1954, supporting identification with Joseph Gus Traina II. No street address is entered for this baptism. The register verifies Joanna as godparent but gives no maiden surname, age, parentage or explicit grandmother relationship. It does NOT by itself establish Joanna as Giovanna Favaro/Annie or identify the four 917 Milton residents. No residence inferred from church location.
