Original Perry Orphans' Court pp.14–15, DGS005534162 image43/742, visually read. At foot of p14 Nancy Devin calls Alexander, Richard and Sarah minor children of her late husband James Divin, late of Tyrone Township. All three under fourteen; court appoints Peter Hench and Samuel Linn. Separate petition names John Divin a minor son of the same deceased James, above fourteen, choosing Peter Hench. Heading appears May1,1822, while appointment narrative says second day of May; retain month-level date rather than silently harmonize. This corroborates Nancy and the same four-child household in1819/1832/1840; does not name James's father or assert the new guardians were relatives. John is above14 in1822 and under14 in1819, but no exact birth date is established. Full original JPG downloaded for preservation.
