Collateral property/identity research; no parent-child relationship inferred. Salem County, New Jersey, Mortgage Book B p.483, FamilySearch DGS008590882 image571/646. Original handwritten recorded abstract visually checked and downloaded 4 November 2026.
25 August 1810: Samuel Garrigues, Northern Liberties, Philadelphia, Esquire, mortgages to Robert Haydock, Philadelphia plumber, an undivided half of an 800-acre Salem County tract near Prince Maurice River. Secures a $20,000 penal obligation conditioned on payment of $10,000 in thirty days; recorded 30 August 1810. No wife or child is named for Samuel. Recites Francis Rawle's 31 March 1789 conveyance to Samuel of half his ancestral West New Jersey lands. This is Rawle-derived land, not Rebecca's inherited Cedar Street parcel.
Related original sheriff deed: Salem Deed Book O pp.133–135, DGS008210923 images88–89, https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSGS-6C74 and https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSGS-6CS9. Robert Haydock's judgment against Samuel Garrigues leads to sale of this half interest to Samuel Haydock for $101, 25 January 1811; recorded same date. Page134 explicitly cites Mortgage Book B p.483. This confirms the financial/property association, not the exact kinship, and does not identify Hannah Norris/Wallace's mother. Preserve the separate identities of Robert Haydock and Samuel Haydock.
