Rebecca Haydock maternity research, pass L (twenty routes), November 4, 2026.

Original Philadelphia Orphans' Court estate papers for Robert Haydock, Ancestry collection 8802, DGS 007726735: A. Volume 28 p.501, No.41, July 18, 1823, images253–255. Petition of Robert P. Haydock and Edward Haydock calls deceased Robert Haydock their father and says administration was granted about the year1817 to Samuel and Eden Haydock. Eden had since died; petition asks Samuel, surviving administrator, to settle the account or show cause. The text does NOT give a March1817 grant date; an initial reading suggesting a month was rejected on full-resolution review. Nor does it explicitly state Samuel's relationship to the deceased. https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/8802/images/007726735_00254 B. Volume29 p.1, No.1, September10,1823, images348–351. Wrapper, filing endorsement, and two-page account by Samuel Haydock dated8mo13,1823. Image352 begins Isaac Lawrence Ritter's separate packet, so the four-image Robert packet boundary is established. https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/8802/images/007726735_00350 https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/8802/images/007726735_00351

Selected account observations (not a complete transcription): payments include Elizabeth Longstreth principal$214.36 on10mo14,1817, subsequent interest/payments to her or her estate, and D.Evans as guardian of H.Longstreth. The closing schedule includes a judgment owed to E.Longstreth's estate, reading$1260. Household furniture$687.85 is described as given by Robert's heirs to Susanna Haydock. Account balance$2615.18 and further obligations are accounting amounts, NOT proof of a particular heir's share.

Research significance: supports the Haydock–Longstreth financial/guardian network and explicitly identifies Robert P. and Edward as Robert's sons. It helps interpret Elizabeth Longstreth's earlier inventory: funds held with Robert's estate cannot simply be called an inheritance; the account includes debt/judgment and interest obligations. No passage inspected names Hannah Norris/Wallace as Rebecca's child, and no Rebecca maternity link is established. Do not infer parentage from a shared surname, payment, guardian, or administrator alone.

Preserve the existing provisional Samuel-to-Hannah conclusion and Rebecca maternity uncertainty.
