8 October 2026 - Clemens and earlier Keyser research, third round

The estate inventory of Garret Clemens, 15 January 1799, lists Elizabeth first among seven children who received advances. This contemporary father-child statement correlates with the Keyser genealogy p. 129, which identifies Elizabeth, wife of Derick Keyser, as daughter of Garrit and Keturah, and p. 132, which identifies sisters Catherine and Rachel. A father link to Garrit is supported by the combined evidence. The estate does not give Elizabeth's married surname or identify her mother, so the maternity claim remains attributed to the compilation.

Earlier archive notes (preserved): 8 October 2026 - Keyser and Wallace family research, second round

Page 129 calls her daughter of Garrit and Keturah Clemens and first wife of Derick Keyser, married April 25, 1782. Page 132 explicitly calls her sister of Catherine Clemens and also names sister Rachel, wife of George Gorgas. These specific family statements give a testable earlier-generation lead. No death date is printed here; Derick’s reported second marriage in 1821 alone does not establish Elizabeth’s precise death date.

Evidence and limits Charles S. Keyser, The Keyser Family (Philadelphia: Wm. F. Fell & Co., 1889), printed pp. 129, 132-134 (PDF pages 175, 178-180). Scanned printed pages inspected. Historical family compilation, not original vital records. https://archive.org/details/keyserfamilydesc00keys

Status: Historical compilation lead. The named relationships and dates have not been independently verified from original vital or probate records. Proposed family connections are documented in these notes; they are not asserted as new biological tree links.
